“Zipporah’s Pen? The Heart That Writes? How do you write from the heart?”
All fair questions. And because you deserve real answers, I’ll start with the heart of who I am. Allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Ms. Zipporah. I am a wife, a grandmother, a full-time Executive Assistant, and an author rooted in North Carolina. For as long as memory serves, I’ve shared my interests, my quirks, my questions, and my convictions with the people around me. Writing inspires me. Knowing that my words, can touch the lives of others brings me a deep sense of fulfillment and satisfaction.
Ms. Zipporah’s Pen ~ The Heart That Writes is more than a title. It truly is the space where my passion meets purpose. Its a place to encourage, uplift, and connect. I volunteer with the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community, share the Bible with those who are interested, and look for every opportunity to brighten someone’s day. Nothing brings me more Joy than knowing that I have encouraged your heart.
What I write comes straight from my head and my HEART~ from a place of LOVE.
I value honesty, the kind my grandmother taught me when she said, If you love me, then you’ll tell me the truth. So, if you give it to me straight, no chaser, I’ll appreciate you forever. That’s the spirit behind every story, reflection, and moment I share here.
I love Swedish Fish, sunflower seeds, and a good Zumba workout. When inspiration strikes, I toss a handful of seeds in my mouth and get cracking — literally. I’m a people person through and through, always trying to greet everyone I meet with a smile. Including you. Happiness is contagious.
As we journey together, we’ll make a few pit stops. Some are in the present and some are back in the day when life was simple. You might laugh. You might cry. You might shake your head and say, “She’s crazy.” Guilty as charged. But my hope is that you leave this space feeling encouraged or inspired ~ laugh, cry, have fun, and enjoy what you read.
